Unsheffield is about taking an active part in the way technology shapes your world. Get involved as a contributor, make it happen as a volunteer or sponsor, or be a participant in one of our public workshops.

Contribute

Unconference tickets will be on general release from 4 June 2009 and don’t cost anything.  We encourage you to take an active role in our community forum.  Committed Stimulus and community contributors will get priority notification for tickets.

Volunteer

We’re looking for help in a variety of areas to make Unsheffield run smoothly. Contact us at volunteer [at] unsheffield.net if you have skills and time to offer for any of the following:

• Hands-on Support: handle on-the-day registrations, be a point of contact for the attendees, make sure participants and members of the public can get to the different activities
• Reporting: live blog the sessions to build up the event archive, get radio and video feedback from delegates and public workshop attendees
• Social Media Surgeons: provide basic help, advice and demonstrations for people who come to the drop-in Social Media Surgery, which is aimed at giving third, public and education sector organisations a helping hand with getting to grips with digital technology. Find out more information here.
• Outreach: Facilitating and helping out with public outreach workshops, events and projects
