I am reasonably convinced that these links now work without any need for Google signin.

Notes for the first session explaining what heuristic evaluation is and giving examples of heuristics to keep in mind while doing an evaluation

The problem list was generated in second session - a group evaluation of Bing.com shopping area. We put ourselves in the shoes of a parent looking for a baby gate. That wasn't too difficult because we had two dads in the room!

Everyone was allowed to shout out any problems they identified and everybody then voted silently how serious they thought the problem was. I took all those votes and averaged them out and then sorted the final list in descending order. The resulting list shows potential usability problems in order of priority which can be taken back to your designers and developers for discussion or fed into user testing to confirm whether these are real user problems.

Special thanks to Joanne Jacobs and Andy Groundry for standing in with tech support when wifi failed me.
