Unsheffield kicks off with an injection of ideas on the evening of Fri 19 Jun at 7:00pm. We’re inviting participants to offer lightning talks exploring all dimensions of the Future Users of Cool Technology theme. We’ll pull these together in an intense back-to-back stream of topics that will challenge our perceptions of technology, where it fits in our lives and how we go about producing and consuming it. This session is called USE Stimulus and will spark the ideas that shape the agenda of Unsheffield.
If you can make it and want to present:
- Talks are in the 20:20 format – 20 slides automatically changing after 20 seconds
- Choose an innovative angle on the Future Users of Cool Technology theme
- Avoid fancy animation – we’ll convert your slide pack into the OpenOffice Impress format
- Sell us your ideas, theories and points of view, not your products or business.
When you’re ready, submit your presentation using the form below (in KeyNote, Powerpoint or Impress format only). The deadline for submissions is Sun 14 Jun 2009. We’ll announce the lineup on Tues 16 Jun Wed 17 Jun.
Some handy extras:
- Need some inspiration? Try the Future Users? Cool Technology? article.
- Want to sound out some ideas? Post your thoughts and ask for feedback on our community forum.
- Find out more about the 20:20 presentation format.
- USE Stimulus is made possible by you and University of Sheffield Enterprise (USE).
- All Stimulus speakers are guaranteed a full weekend ticket for Unsheffield.
