Call for Social Media Surgeons

Unsheffield is building on the legacy of the BashMash voluntary collaboration days to bootstrap an ongoing Social Media Surgery for Sheffield’s voluntary and third sector.

Charity, education and local government workers are invited to drop into the event to get practical, hands-on advice on putting social technology into action for their causes, opening up the possibilities to reach a wider audience and promote the good work they do.

To make this happen, we’re inviting bloggers and social media experts in the region to become Social Media Surgeons for the weekend and share their skills and experience. To get involved, please drop us a line at volunteers [at] unsheffield.net with a bit of information about what you can offer and any blogs or website you run, as well as what your availability is.

The Social Media Surgery will be open from 11am to 5pm on both Sat 20 Jun and Sun 21 Jun. Social Media Surgeons will get full tickets for Unsheffield on the days that they can contribute.
